Our client a global oil and gas giant is currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Analyst
The successful candidate will be involved in the following
Provide analysis and commercial assurance on spend versus delivery on Capital Projects
Track actual versus planned spend and provide variance commentary to Management and the Business
Maintain tracking of milestone payments with vendors
Liaise with Project Managers to develop and maintain project cost models which allow tracking of current and planned spend
Act as point of contact for the function on all financial queries
Liaise regularly with Finance Areas to agree best practice and deliver continual improvements across the company
Drive automation and synergies across IT Finance area to improve efficiency in the way the client works
Provide analysis of variances trends and other required information
Identify areas to control costs and reduce expenditure
