Calling all Nursery Deputy Managers and Room Leaders ***Oxfordshire***. Our client has a reputation for being leaders in top quality, progressive childcare. They are one of the largest private day-care providers with nursery settings around the UK. The nursery is purpose built with eight individual rooms, tailored to specific age groups, four large outdoor play areas and its own car park. This is a fantastic role for an experienced Deputy Manager or a Room Leader looking for career progression or for a Nursery Manager of a small Nursery looking to join a larger organisation. You will be joining a large team at a very established and successful setting, a solid background in leading a staff team is essential. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an inspirational Nursery Manager and deliver excellent standards of care and education. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to a successful setting and enhance their skill sets. You will be responsible in assisting and supporting the Nursery Manager and the team in the development of the Nursery and implement the highest standards of childcare in line with the EYFS. You will assist in all aspects of the nursery including staff management, parent partnerships, quality assurance and commercial opportunities. Some of your Nursery Deputy Manager responsibilities will include; o To deputise for the Nursery Manager, in the event of them being absent from nursery. o To ensure delivery of the highest quality childcare for all children across the nursery. o To work towards achieving agreed targets, in terms of occupancy and budget in order to guarantee commercial success. o To lead by example, to challenge and support staff to realise and achieve their full potential. o To maintain the operational required standards in regards to their Core Curriculum on offer. Key attributes of the Nursery Deputy Manager include; o Current experience of being a Deputy Manager within a Nursery, or be a Room Leader who is now ready to take the next step up o Childcare qualification: minimum Level 3 qualification or equivalent o At least two years post qualification experience o Thorough understanding of the EYFS process and requirements with a real enthusiasm to ensure this is ongoing throughout the nursery on a day to day basis As a leading recruiter in Early Years Childcare and Education we are always looking for suitable qualified Childcare Professionals to work in our nurseries in permanent jobs that are based UK Wide, If you cannot see a area or a position you are interested to work in, please give us a call.
