Our client, a highly regarded National Law firm are looking for an Employment Solicitor to be based in their Cambridge office. They are looking for a hard working, ambitious individual to undertake a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work for their corporate clients. This is an ideal opportunity to take your career to the next level by developing your skills and experience, working in the private sector part of a growing employment law team.
Responsibilities
Advising a wide range of clients on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law
Advising clients on risk management to include training workshops
Participating in business development projects and supporting commercial marketing events and client entertainment
Meeting Financial Targets and managing Work in Progress, Billings, aged debts and meeting financial targets
Skills
Successful candidate will be a highly qualified Employment Solicitor with 3+ years PQE with a large regional or City Firm
Ability to handle high caseloads and litigation experience would be advantageous
Excellent ability and proven track record to develop business and assist with the development and marketing of the firm
You will have a high standard of employment law expertise and technical knowledge, with good recent corporate support experience
Strong communication and negotiation skills will be essential with the ability to communicate to a variety of people at all levels
Ability to work with a wide variety of clients: large corporate, SME's, agricultural businesses, educational institutions and individuals
