Our client is a lead generation company who work mainly with organisations in the public sector, such as Local Authorities, the Civil Service, HM Revenue & Customs and others, and also with many large independent groups. They also look to develop trusted relationships with a number of public body retirement groups. The company have embraced the onset of RDR by developing a number of exciting technological tools to assist with Financial Planning. The company has a nationwide panel of Independent Financial Advisers and the role will involve supporting them from the head office in Bristol.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To ascertain that procedures follwed by the company are Compliant and follow the guidelines set out by the FSA
To process and deliver Suitability reports for a variety of IFA's
To provide recommendations to clients on Investments and Pensions based on your own research and to be able to support these recommendations with a coherent explanation
Work effectively autonomously or as part of a team
Respond efficiently and effectively to requests from Company advisers and Management
Skills and Qualifications:
At least 3 years experience within an IFA practice background
You will be at least Cert PFS with the Diploma in Financial Planning an advantage
Familarity of all tools used for research including but not limited to Aequos, O & M and Assureweb
Knowledge and practical experience in the application of the rules of the FSA
Knowledge of the Financial Services and Market Act 2000, Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 & Money Laundering Regulations, Data Protection
Stengths in Data Analysis and written English are essential
