Litigation Assistant (Personal Injury)

Salary: £15,000 - £22,000 (6MFTC)
Our Client is a forward thinking legal 500 firm with a National presence, who are currently looking to strengthen their Personal Injury team. We are sourcing for a Litigation Assistant for our client's Bristol Team on a 6 months fixed term contract. Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package including pension, critical illness cover, health cash plan and death in service benefit.
Responsibilities
You will undertake administration, client liaison and provide secretarial support
You will have a flexible approach making you able to respond to rapid changes in working schedules and priorities. For this you will need to be organised and able to communicate clearly with people at all levels
Excellent analytical and organisational skills
Must be well motivated and willing to assist with the continuing development of a growing department
Skills
You will ideally have experience as a Litigation Assistant and be seeking the opportunity to pursue a career within an expanding law firm
Consideration will also be given to candidates with a strong secretarial or administrative background from other fields
Ideally you will have a keen interest in Personal Injury and be willing to expand your knowledge of this area of law
Candidates applying for this role should be keen to develop both their administrative and legal skills
This position would suit a motivated individual with intelligence, ambition, lateral thinking and sound judgment skills
You should have good IT skills and possess a typing speed of 60 WPM plus
The successful candidate should be educated to at least A-level standard and have previous experience within a similar role as a PA/legal Secretary or Litigation Assistant
