Responsibilities
The successful candidate is expected to provide secretarial support to the Insurance team within the Bristol office as directed by the office Administrator. Duties will include dictation of and writing of letters, documents, attendance notes, memos and reports to appropriate standards and required deadlines for any number of fee earners across the Bristol office Ensures that all typed work meets the Firm's quality standards with regard to accuracy and enclosures
Receives calls both face-to-face and on the telephone in a courteous manner and ensuring confidentiality
Maintain accurate Files and correspondence E
Arranges meetings, including rooms, refreshments, and travel arrangements as required
Management of client files
Skills
RSA Stage 2 Typing (or equivalent) and a knowledge of the appropriate word processing package
Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) - preferably with Mathematics and English Grade C or above
Preferably the successful candidate will have experience of working in a commercial law firm with experience in insurance practice
accuracy and high levels of organisation are essential
Excellent communication skills, having a professional and courteous manner with clients and colleagues
Ability to maintain professionalism at all times, maintaining client confidentiality
A self motivated individual, with a positive attitude to work
