Senior Claims Negotiator
Location: Bristol
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Claims Negotiator to join one of the South West's Leading claims Units. You will be managing your own caseload of high value complex claims from inception through to settlement while providing a mentoring service to junior claims handlers within the team.
Responsibilities:
Handle Personal Injury RTA, EL and Pl claims from inception through to settlement.
Provide and design training programs for the claims unit
Handle serious complaints
Deal with all referred claims
Limit claims spend by only paying claims having established a legal liability that is covered by Policy or Statutory liability
Provide external customers with a quality service by using appropriate means of communication that is timely, meaningful and effective, and to ensure that internal customers receive a quality service by providing the various claims systems with information that is also timely, meaningful and effective
Skills:
Experience of handling high value complex personal injury claims
Excellent Communication skills and Computer Literate
