Free to Dance is seeking a number of volunteer social media officers to help expand its online following. This role would suit someone who is a current student or recent graduate looking to expand their C.V. with some voluntary work in a fun and creative environment. You will have a strong interest, knowledge of and possibly some experience in online media as well as some basic understanding of communications. You will be working as part of a dynamic team so it is important that you are highly self motivated and comfortable working individually and as part of a team. We’re looking for someone with an enthusiastic and clever Twitter / Facebook voice and a passion for spreading the Free to Dance message across different social media platforms.<br />

What you will do <br />

• Monitor online discussions, taking part in conversations and spreading the word of Free to Dance<br />
• Increase the social media following for Free to Dance <br />
• Use the latest social media tools to monitor the development of Free to Dance on social media <br />
• Research and develop ways to improve site traffic and engagement <br />
• Participate in creative communication and campaign brainstorming<br />

- You will get a chance to learn more about online marketing and social networking for charity and will receive personal training from our volunteer Social Media Manager. Some experience is desirable, but not necessary; we’re looking for someone who is passionate about the charity sector with a keen interest in social media.
